Ellie Han Yung Lin is a dedicated and aspiring Clinical Psychologist, currently in pursuit of her Ph.D. in Psychology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Specializing in pediatric and adolescent care, Ellie brings a wealth of expertise in assessments and diagnoses of developmental and psychological disorders. Her primary focus is on providing therapy services to children with ASD, ADHD, and speech & social communication delays, utilizing therapeutic approaches such as CBT, Existentialism, Psychoanalytic, and Expressive Arts.
In her role as Clinical Director at The Happy Leaves Autism & Special Needs Therapy Centre, Ellie oversees consultation, assessments, diagnosis, and therapy services for both children and adults. The majority of her clients are children with special needs, showcasing her dedication to making a positive impact in this field.
In addition to her clinical role, Ellie actively contributes as an Industry Expert Panel member at Taylor’s University. She participates in annual meetings to enhance the curriculum for aspiring psychologists. As a Part-time Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Ellie plays a vital role in building and setting modules related to Special Educational Needs (SEN) and expressive art therapies.
Ellie's academic journey includes ongoing Ph.D. studies, emphasizing early identification and intervention for young toddlers at risk for Autism Spectrum Disorder in Malaysia.
Her commitment extends to nurturing future psychologists, as she currently serves as an External Clinical Practicum Supervisor for Masters students pursuing Clinical Psychology or Counseling. In this role, Ellie closely monitors and supervises students during their practical training periods.
